Drive fit and overload profile
The Siemens 6SL3217-0CE17-5UA1 is a SINAMICS V10-1 AC drive rated for 0.75 kW output on a 3-phase 400 VAC supply (-15/+20%, 48-52 Hz). The overload profile is what matters for the real load: 150% for 60 seconds, then 100% for 240 seconds, cycling every 300 seconds. That means it handles a short heavy draw — say a conveyor start or a pump breakaway — then settles back to continuous duty within the duty cycle. Ambient range is 0 to +50 °C, so no derating needed in a typical ventilated panel up to that ceiling.
Physical fit and panel integration
Frame size FSA, dimensions 230 x 140 x 155 mm (H x W x D). IP21 protection means it is suited for clean indoor panel mounting — no washdown, no outdoor exposure. Ships with the Basic Operator Panel (BOP) for local parameter access. No internal filter, so if the line requires EMC compliance at the drive terminals, plan for an external filter or a filtered variant.
