The Siemens 6SL3217-0CE22-2UA1 is a SINAMICS V10-1 AC drive rated for 2.2 kW output on a 3AC 400V supply (-15/+20%, 48-52 Hz). The overload capability — 150% for 60 seconds, 100% for 240 seconds, repeating every 300 seconds — suits it for pump, fan, and light conveyor duty where short-duration torque spikes are the exception, not the norm. No built-in EMC filter, so plan for an external filter if the installation must meet conducted emission limits for the European 400V grid. Ambient temperature range is 0 to +50 °C, which covers most ventilated indoor panel environments. The IP21 enclosure with the Basic Operator Panel (BOP) means it is intended for clean, dry indoor locations — not washdown or outdoor installation. Frame size FSB dimensions are 260 x 150 x 159 mm (HxWxD).
Integration notes
Mounts in a standard IP21 enclosure with gland-plate entry for the power and motor cables. The BOP provides local parameter access and status readout; remote control via the terminal strip or fieldbus option is supported by the V10-1 platform. No internal brake chopper on this variant — for vertical loads or high-inertia stops, an external braking resistor must be added across the DC-link terminals.
