Drive rating and overload profile
The 6SL3217-0CE23-0UA1 is a SINAMICS V10-1 AC drive sized for a 3.0 kW motor on a 400 V three-phase supply (±20% tolerance on the input). The overload curve is the spec that governs real-world sizing: 150 % rated current for 60 seconds, then 100 % for 240 seconds, repeating on a 300-second cycle. That means it handles a 4.5 kW peak for a minute — enough for a conveyor start or a short high-torque segment — without oversizing the drive frame.
Where it fits in a panel
Mounts in a standard enclosure with 260 x 150 x 159 mm (HxWxD) footprint. The IP21 rating means it's protected against solid objects larger than 12 mm and dripping water — fine for a clean indoor panel, not for washdown or outdoor installation. The BOP (Basic Operator Panel) is included, so you get local control and parameter access without ordering a separate keypad.
