The 6SL3220-3YE40-0AP0: This is a SINAMICS G120X drive rated 55 kW at 380-480 V 3-phase, 47-63 Hz, with an integrated radio interference suppression filter for Category C2 — meaning it meets conducted emission limits for industrial environments without an external filter on the line side. Overload capability is 110% for 60 seconds and 100% for 240 seconds — the 55 kW rating is the base load; the drive handles a 10% bump for a minute to get a conveyor or pump through a transient load. Frame size FSE with IP20 protection, dimensions 395 x 610 x 425 mm — this is a cabinet-mount unit, not a standalone wall-mount. The open-type UL rating means it needs an enclosure for the line-side terminals.
Fieldbus and operator interface
Integrated PROFIBUS DP fieldbus — no option module needed; the drive ships ready to talk to a Siemens S7-300/400 or any PROFIBUS master. Commissioning parameters are downloaded over the bus or via the included Intelligent Operator Panel (IOP). The IOP is the local HMI for setup and diagnostics — parameter access, fault log, and quick-start wizard without a laptop. No IO expansion module is included; that is a separate order if you need additional digital or analog I/O beyond what the base drive provides.
