The 6SL3220-3YH40-0AB0: Rated power is 55 kW at 110 % overload for 60 seconds, or 100 % continuous for 240 seconds — the overload profile matches pump and fan duty where peak torque is short-lived. Input voltage range is 500-690 VAC 3-phase, +10/-20 %, 47-63 Hz. The wide tolerance covers weak-grid installations and generator-backed sites without a step-down transformer.
Fieldbus and operator interface
Integrated fieldbus includes MODBUS RTU and BACnet MS/TP — the two protocols most common in HVAC and building automation. The Intelligent Operator Panel (IOP) is included for local commissioning and diagnostics. No IO expansion module is fitted as shipped; the base unit carries the IOP and the fieldbus interface. Ambient temperature range is -20 to +45 °C, so the drive sits in a conditioned enclosure or a ventilated panel.
Enclosure and EMC compliance
The built-in radio interference suppression filter meets category C2, covering conducted emissions for first-environment (residential) installations. Painting classification is 3C2 per IEC 60721-3-3, which means the coating resists corrosion in indoor industrial environments with moderate humidity and chemical exposure.
