The Siemens 6SL3220-3YH48-0CB0 is a SINAMICS G120X variable-frequency drive rated 132 kW at 110 % overload for 60 seconds (100 % for 240 s), running on 500-690 V 3-phase AC input at 47-63 Hz. Built in frame size FSF with IP20 / UL open-type protection, this drive targets pump, fan, and compressor applications where the higher voltage range matches medium-voltage motor nameplates and the BACnet MS/TP interface ties directly into building automation or process SCADA networks.
Overload profile and fieldbus integration
The 110 % overload for 60 seconds means the drive handles starting current and short-term load spikes without oversizing — a 132 kW motor on a loaded conveyor start sees the full torque without tripping on the I²t limit. Integrated MODBUS RTU and BACnet MS/TP eliminate the need for a separate communication module; the drive presents its process data (speed, current, fault codes) directly to the PLC or BMS over RS-485.
