Integration notes
The PM230 is a power module only — no onboard control. It mates to a CU230P-2 Control Unit via the internal interface; the CU handles the fieldbus connection (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, or Modbus RTU depending on the CU variant) and the I/O wiring. The integrated Class B filter covers conducted emissions for European EMC environments without an external filter block, saving DIN-rail space.
