The Siemens 6SL3223-0DE15-5BA0 is a SINAMICS G120P Power Module PM230 rated for low-overload duty at 0.55 kW on a 380-480 V three-phase supply with an integrated Class B EMC filter. The IP55 / UL Type 12 enclosure makes it suited for washdown environments and outdoor installation — the housing and gland plate accept conduit or cable glands directly, no separate enclosure needed. This FSA frame ships without a Control Unit; it requires a CU230P-2 with firmware V4.3.2 or higher to operate.
Overload Profile and Ambient Limits
The low-overload curve delivers 150 % rated current for 3 seconds, 110 % for 57 seconds, and continuous 100 % current over a 240-second cycle. Ambient temperature range is 0 to +40 °C at low overload — no derating needed within that band. For higher ambient or high-overload profiles, consult the SINAMICS G120P engineering manual to adjust the cycle time or select the next frame size.
The FSA frame measures 460 x 154 x 249 mm (H x W x D). Mounting is via the rear flange — four M5 screws on a standard backplate. The IP55 gland plate accepts metric cable glands up to M25; leave a 100 mm clearance above and below for airflow and gland access. The integrated Class B filter meets EN 55011 for conducted emissions, so no external filter is needed for most industrial environments.
