The IP55 / UL Type 12 enclosure lets this module sit in washdown zones, dusty mill areas, or condensing environments without a separate cabinet, provided the cable glands and mounting surface maintain the seal. Rated for low overload duty at 0.55 kW with a defined overload profile — 150 % for 3 seconds, 110 % for 57 seconds, 100 % for 240 seconds — so it handles short-duration load spikes common on pumps and fans without oversizing the frame.

The IP55 enclosure means the module is self-contained with no forced-air path through a panel cutout — mount it on a backplate or bracket with clearance for the top cable entry and bottom cooling fins.
