The Siemens 6SL3223-0DE25-5AA1 is a SINAMICS G120P Power Module PM230, frame size FSB, rated for 5.5 kW low overload on a 380-480 V three-phase supply. The low-overload duty cycle delivers 150% current for 3 s, 110% for 57 s, and 100% for 240 s — enough headroom for pump and fan starts where the load profile stays below the 110% threshold for most of the cycle. The integrated Class A filter meets EN 61800-3 Category C2 conducted emissions limits, so no external filter is needed for standard industrial mains. Ambient temperature range is -10 to +40 °C at low overload; derate above that. The IP55 / UL Type 12 enclosure means the module is sealed against dust jets and low-pressure water spray — suitable for washdown areas in food-and-beverage lines or outdoor installations under a canopy. The 540 x 180 x 249 mm (HxWxD) footprint fits a standard 600 mm deep panel; allow clearance above and below for the fan airflow.
Integration notes
The PM230 ships without a Control Unit or operating unit. It requires a CU230P-2 Control Unit with firmware V4.3.2 or higher. The CU230P-2 snaps onto the front of the FSB frame; the power module and control unit are ordered separately. The integrated Class A filter occupies the space that would otherwise hold an external filter bracket — no extra panel real estate needed. Spring-cage power terminals on the FSB frame accept 0.5–16 mm² conductors. Strip length is 10 mm for the power connections. The control wiring uses the CU230P-2's own terminals; verify the loop draw of any 24 VDC sensors against the CU's internal supply rating.
