Because it's a spare part designation, the unit ships without Control Unit or BOP. If you're replacing a failed PM240, verify the existing CU firmware version is compatible — the power module itself doesn't carry the control logic.
What the overload ratings mean for your motor
The 200% / 3-second high-overload rating is the spec that decides whether this drive starts a loaded conveyor or a high-inertia fan without tripping on overcurrent. The 150% / 57-second window covers acceleration ramp time for most industrial loads. The 100% continuous rating is the steady-state current the drive can deliver indefinitely — that's the number you match to the motor FLA. Low-overload mode (22 kW) trades thermal headroom for higher continuous power. Use it when the load profile is steady-state with infrequent starts — centrifugal pumps, unloaded compressors. The 40 °C ambient limit on that duty means the cabinet cooling must keep internal air below that; above 40 °C you must derate or switch to high-overload mode.
