What it is and what it does
The 6SL3300-7TG41-3AW1 is a SINAMICS S120 Active Interface Module designed to pair with an Active Line Module rated at 1100/1400 kW. It handles 1270 A on a 500-690 V 3-phase AC supply at 50/60 Hz. This is the interface that connects the line module to the drive system's DC link, providing the necessary filtering and pre-charging for regenerative or high-performance applications. Built as a built-in unit with IP00 protection, it relies on internal air cooling and is intended for installation inside a cabinet or enclosure. The package includes a Drive-CLiQ cable, specifically for use with shaft generator drive applications that require Pt1000 temperature sensing.
Integration notes
IP00 means no ingress protection on the unit itself — it requires a clean, dry cabinet environment with forced air movement. The internal air cooling assumes the cabinet's own airflow handles heat rejection. Verify the cabinet's cooling capacity against the thermal dissipation of a 1400 kW class Active Line Module plus this interface. The Drive-CLiQ cable is pre-terminated for the Pt1000 sensor path used in shaft generator drives. If you are integrating into a standard regenerative line module without shaft generator functionality, confirm the Pt1000 connection is either used or properly terminated to avoid drive faults.
