DC-fed motor module for multi-axis drive systems
The 6SL3320-1TE32-1AA3 is a SINAMICS S120 Single Motor Module that takes a 600 V DC bus input and delivers a three-phase 400 V AC output at 210 A. It is part of the Motor Modules product family, designed for multi-axis drive systems where a common DC bus powers several motor modules from a single line module. This chassis unit uses internal air cooling and supports extended Safety Integrated functions, which allow safety-related monitoring of speed, position, and standstill without an external safety relay. The module ships with a Drive-CLiQ cable for direct connection to the control unit.
Active production, mature lifecycle
RoHS compliance is confirmed since July 5, 2017. The module contains lead above 0.1% w/w per the REACH Candidate List (CAS-No. 7439-92-1), which is standard for power electronics with soldered joints and does not affect its sale or installation under current exemptions.
210 A output — sizing for multi-motor loads
The 210 A output at 400 V AC three-phase drives motors up to approximately 132 kW (standard induction motor at 400 V, 50 Hz). In a multi-axis system, this module handles one motor group; the DC bus current draw from the line module depends on the total shaft power of all connected axes. Chassis form factor with internal air cooling means it mounts in a standard IP20 cabinet. The Drive-CLiQ interface provides deterministic cycle-synchronous communication with the control unit, essential for coordinated motion in applications like packaging lines, machine tools, or printing presses.
