The 6SL3320-1TH31-5AA0: The 145 A output at 690 V AC three-phase sets the motor current capability — size the upstream feeder and DC-link components for that continuous current, not the motor nameplate alone. Input side is 1035 V, which is the DC-link voltage range for a 690 V AC drive system; the module expects a regulated DC bus from the SINAMICS line-side module. Internal air cooling means it pulls cabinet air through its heatsink — verify the enclosure's thermal budget and filter maintenance schedule, especially if the cabinet is shared with other heat sources.
Drive-CLiQ integration note
The DRIVE-CLiQ cable is included, so no separate ordering step for the communication link back to the Control Unit. Keep the cable run under the rated maximum length (typically 100 m for DRIVE-CLiQ, but check the Control Unit manual for the exact limit in your topology). The module identifies itself automatically on the DRIVE-CLiQ ring — no DIP switches or parameter settings needed for basic operation.
