DC bus supply for multi-axis SINAMICS S120 drives
This Basic Line Module takes 3-phase 380-480 VAC at 50/60 Hz and outputs a regulated 510-650 VDC bus at 530 A, supporting up to 250 kW of connected motor load across the shared DC link. The chassis frame with plug-in board (CIM) and internal air cooling means it mounts directly in the cabinet without external heatsink ducting — the cooling airflow path must be accounted for in the enclosure thermal design. The included Drive-CLiQ cable connects the module to the SINAMICS S120 control unit for parameterization and diagnostics over the standardized Siemens drive bus.
Regulatory and compliance documentation
RoHS compliant since July 5, 2017 — the module meets the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive for the current scope of exempted applications. REACH Article 33 disclosure: the product contains lead (CAS 7439-92-1) above 0.1% w/w, which must be communicated downstream per the SVHC candidate list requirements.
