The Siemens 6SL3341-7TE38-8AA0 is a combined Active Interface Module (AIM) and Active Line Module (ALM) in the SINAMICS S120 Chassis-2 format. It takes a 380 V to 480 V three-phase AC input and delivers a regulated 510 V to 720 V DC bus, rated at 900 A continuous with a type power rating of 560 kW. This is the front-end rectifier and filter stage for a multi-axis S120 DC-link system — it supplies the common DC bus that powers downstream Motor Modules.
The 900 A DC output feeds a common bus that can supply multiple S120 Motor Modules in parallel. The 560 kW type rating is the nominal motor power the ALM can support in a typical multi-axis configuration — it is not a single-motor limit but the total regenerative capacity of the active infeed. The active front-end design (Active Line Module) provides regenerative braking capability back to the supply, plus power factor correction and low harmonics, which matters for installations with line-side harmonic limits or frequent deceleration cycles.
