The Siemens 6SL3500-0XE52-2AA0 is a spare electronic module for the SINAMICS G115D drive family, rated at 2.2 kW. It's the AS-i variant for motor-mounted or wall-mounted installations, bundling the power unit, control logic, and communication interface into one replaceable assembly. This module is the field-replaceable brain of the G115D — swap it when the original fails, no need to pull the entire drive. The AS-i onboard means it talks directly to the AS-Interface network without an extra gateway card.
That means Siemens still manufactures it, but it's past the launch phase — expect stable supply, not aggressive promotion. No successor has been announced, so this is the current service part. For a maintenance-spares purchaser, this is a critical spare to hold. The G115D is a distributed drive — if one goes down on a conveyor or pump, the line stops. Having one of these in the cabinet avoids the scramble.
