Drive with integrated switch, filter, and bus interface
The Siemens 6SL3511-1PE25-5AM0 is a SINAMICS G110D AC Drive rated for 5.5 kW under high overload duty — 200% for 3 seconds, 150% for 60 seconds, 100% for 300 seconds — on a 380-500 V 3AC supply at 47-63 Hz. The enclosure carries an IP65 rating, so the drive withstands washdown and dust ingress without an additional cabinet; the FSC (Frame Size C) footprint measures 210 x 450 x 240 mm (HxWxD). This variant integrates a repair switch (isolator), a Class A EMC filter, a braking chopper, and an AS-Interface bus interface into the same housing. That consolidation saves panel space and external component count — the drive arrives ready for a standalone or distributed installation where the AS-i network carries the control signals.
Overload curve and ambient limits
The high-overload profile (200% for 3 s, 150% for 60 s, 100% for 300 s) suits applications that need short bursts of torque — conveyors with breakaway loads, mixers, or shuttle drives in automated storage. The ambient temperature range is -10 to +40 °C; above that the drive must be derated per the thermal curve, which is typical for IP65 units with limited convection.

The integrated repair switch provides a local lockable disconnecting means, which simplifies compliance with machinery safety standards during maintenance.
