The Siemens 6SL3532-6DF71-0RA2 is a SINAMICS S120M distributed servo drive rated for 1.00 Nm continuous torque at 3000 RPM nominal speed, fed from a DC 600 V bus. The 20-bit absolute encoder gives position feedback without a home cycle after power loss — useful on multi-axis lines where re-referencing costs cycle time. Natural air cooling keeps the enclosure simple; no fan means one fewer wear item in a washdown zone.
IP65/IP67 and mounting flexibility
Rated IP65 on the shaft end and IP67 on the shaft body, so the drive handles direct washdown and wet-floor environments common in food, beverage, and packaging lines. The IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3 mounting configurations give flange, vertical, and ceiling-mount options — useful when the motor must sit above the roller deck or inside a tight frame. Shaft ships with fitted key; tolerance class N. No holding brake on this variant, so the load must hold itself or use an external brake when power is off.
