It carries a 20-bit absolute encoder and natural air cooling. The shaft ships with a fitted key, tolerance N, and the unit includes a holding brake. Enclosure is IP65 — sealed against washdown and dust ingress, so it mounts directly on the machine frame, not in a cabinet.
Mounting and environment
Mounting configurations include IM B5 (flange), IM V1, and IM V3 — so it fits standard motor-mount patterns. Natural air cooling means no fan to fail, but you need free airflow around the housing. IP65 lets it live in washdown zones, food processing, or outdoor-adjacent spots without an enclosure. The holding brake holds the load at standstill; verify the brake release voltage matches your DC bus.
