It's the mechanical and thermal interface between the drive and the enclosure wall — the fan handles forced-air cooling for the G110M's power stage, and the gland provides a sealed entry for the motor cable.
What's in the box

The fan is the primary cooling path for the SINAMICS G110M's integrated power module; without it, the drive derates significantly or trips on overtemperature. The single gland covers the motor cable pass-through; signal and supply cables route through separate knockouts or additional glands (not included).
