The ABB PM590-ARCNET (1SAP150000R0261) is a processor module for the distributed automation line, packing 2 MB of memory with an ARCNET interface, two RS232/485 serial ports, and a front-panel display. It handles the control logic and deterministic data exchange across the ARCNET ring, typical for high-speed I/O coordination in mid-size machine cells. Supply voltage range spans 20.4 to 28.8 V DC, so it tolerates line dips on a 24 V bus without dropping out. No onboard digital I/O, so you’ll pair it with remote I/O blocks via the FBP or serial links.
