Processor module for ABB's distributed automation PLC family
The ABB 1SAP350100R0271 PM591-ETH-XC processor module packs 9728 kB RAM user data into a compact IP20 housing, enough for mid-size machine programs. Ethernet port handles control network traffic; the two RS232/485 ports are configurable for drives or remote I/O, and the FBP interface ties into fieldbus backbones. Front OLED display shows diagnostics without a connected laptop. Supply voltage 20.4–28.8 V DC covers most 24 V panel rails. Ambient range -30 to +70°C means it can live in an unheated cabinet near a press line.
