CS31 Slave I/O Module
The ABB 1SAP421200R0001 CI592-CS31-XC is a distributed I/O interface module functioning as a CS31 slave, combining analog and digital I/O: 4 analog inputs (voltage, current, RTD), 2 analog outputs (voltage, current), 8 digital inputs at 24 V DC, and 8 configurable digital I/O at 24 V DC 0.5 A.
Integration Notes
Supply voltage is 20.4 to 28.8 V DC; the module draws 5 mA from the bus. Operating temperature range is -30 to +70 °C, with IP20 protection. No native Ethernet interface – the module communicates exclusively over the CS31 fieldbus. Each configurable DI/DO sinks up to 0.5 A, enough for pilot relays or small solenoids.
