The 1SAP535100R0001: Front face is cast Zamak with front-face mounting and a front-side IP66 rating per IEC 60529, which lets the panel sit on a cabinet door in a washdown or dusty cell without an additional enclosure window. Display, power and environment
Screen resolution is 800 x 480 pixel in 64k colors on a 7-inch 16:9 TFT panel. The touch screen accepts finger input through the front face. Supply is 24 V DC with an 18 to 30 V DC working range, and typical power consumption is 16.8 W — a 24 VDC DIN-rail supply with at least 1 A of headroom covers cold-start in-rush without sagging the rest of the panel. Operating air temperature is 0 to +50 °C around the enclosure. Backlight service life is 40000 hour, which becomes the practical replacement interval for a continuous-on HMI in a 24/7 plant — schedule a panel-swap window rather than running the display to failure if downtime matters.
Comms and integration
Two Ethernet ports at 100 MBit are exposed, giving the integrator a chance to split plant-floor traffic from a management LAN without a separate switch. Serial Port 1 is configurable for RS232, RS422 or RS485, so the same panel talks to a legacy HVAC controller, a frequency drive or an ABB PLC on the older electrical layer. Two USB 2.0 host ports sit on the unit for recipe download or project transfer without a programming cable. Programming is done in PB610 Panel Builder 600, with 256 MB of DDR for the user program and 128 MB of flash for user data — sized for typical recipe storage and trend history, not multi-machine cell logging. Password protection covers 8 user levels, which is enough granularity to keep operators out of engineering screens while letting supervisors change setpoints.
