7-inch HMI with microbrowser for V2.3 webserver
The ABB CP635-WEB (1SAP535200R0001) is a 7-inch 16:9 widescreen TFT color touch panel with LED backlight and 800x480 pixel resolution, running a microbrowser for V2.3 webserver applications. It draws 16.8 W from a 24 V DC supply (18-30 V range) and is rated IP66 on the front face per IEC 60529, so it handles washdown in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical lines without a secondary enclosure. Dual 100 Mbit Ethernet ports let it sit on a control network while keeping a separate connection for programming or SCADA access.
Front-face mounting with a Zamak bezel — cut a panel opening, gasket seals against the IP66 rating. The RS232/RS422/RS485 serial port handles legacy PLCs or VFDs; the two USB 2.0 host ports accept a keyboard, barcode scanner, or memory stick for recipe transfer. A battery-backed hardware RTC keeps timestamps through power loss, which matters for batch logging and alarm history. Password protection with 8 user levels lets you lock operator screens from engineering pages without separate access hardware.
Memory and runtime
128 MB flash disk for user data and 256 MB DDR RAM for program execution. The microbrowser serves web-based HMI pages from the V2.3 webserver, so the runtime logic lives on the panel itself — no separate PC needed for the operator interface once deployed. Ambient operating range is 0 to +50 °C, typical for a cabinet with moderate ventilation.
