HMI integration walkthrough
The ABB CP6615 (1SAP561510R0001) is a 15.6-inch TFT capacitive multi-touch HMI panel with a native 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and 16 million colors, running a Chromium Browser for web-based visualization. It operates on an 18 to 32 V DC supply and is rated Front IP66, meaning the display bezel and front face withstand direct hose-down and dust ingress — suitable for food, beverage, or washdown zones where a standard panel would fail. Three Industrial Ethernet ports give it the flexibility to daisy-chain or star-connect to upstream PLCs and downstream devices without an external switch.
Environmental & mounting
Rated for ambient operation from -20 to +60 °C, so it can live in an unclimatized cabinet near a furnace line or cold warehouse. Built-in depth is 56 mm — slim enough to keep the enclosure depth manageable. Front IP66 means the seal holds against washdown; the rear of the panel is not sealed, so mount it in a cabinet that protects the backplane connectors.
