Contact configuration for breaker status feedback
The ABB 1SDA048956R1 is an auxiliary contact block that gives three discrete signal paths from a circuit breaker: one changeover contact that is open when the breaker is closed, one changeover contact that is closed when the breaker is closed, and a separate contact that opens only on a tripped condition (S6-S7). That third contact is the one that drives a remote alarm or PLC input when the breaker clears a fault — it stays closed during normal on/off cycles and only changes state on a trip, so you get a dedicated fault signal without wiring through the main breaker aux.
