Frame and trip unit — what the type code tells you
The 1SDA068160R1: The XT4N 160 frame (size XT4) is the mechanical envelope rated Iu=160 A — this is the maximum current the breaker's thermal-magnetic structure can carry before the trip unit takes over. The Ekip LSIG trip unit is an electronic release with L (long-time), S (short-time), I (instantaneous), and G (ground-fault) protection curves, all field-adjustable via the front keypad or Ekip Connect software. Rated current In=100 A means the breaker is factory-set to protect a 100 A continuous load. The 4-pole configuration switches three phases plus neutral, common in TN or TT distribution panels where the neutral needs overcurrent protection.
Voltage and frequency — system compatibility
Rated voltage Ur=690 V AC covers 400 V and 480 V distribution as well as 690 V industrial networks. Rated frequency 50/60 Hz means the breaker is at home on either mains standard — no derating needed between the two.
Lifecycle and sourcing — active, quoted to order
Sourced through authorized distribution against the BOM quantity. Availability and current pricing confirmed at RFQ; typical lead time is 2–4 weeks for production quantities.
