The ABB 1SFA896210R7000 is a PSRC37 soft starter with voltage ramp function, designed to reduce inrush current during motor start by ramping voltage from a fixed initial level to full line voltage over a fixed ramp time. Rated for 208-600 V AC three-phase motors, it delivers a starting capacity of 4x the motor's rated current (Ie) for 6 seconds — enough for most centrifugal pumps, fans, and light conveyors in cold storage or process lines. The control supply accepts 100-240 V AC, with a separate 24 V DC control circuit for PLC or relay logic interface.
Integration Notes
Screw terminals accept 1 x 0.75-2.5 mm² rigid for both main and control circuits. Control circuit torque: 0.6 N·m (5.3 in·lb). Main terminals carry IP10 protection per IEC 60529 — adequate for dry panel environments; no washdown rating.
