DPDT switching at 10 A — the load interface
The ABB 1SVR405621R0100 is a general purpose relay with a DPDT contact arrangement, giving you two independent form-C (changeover) circuits per relay. The 24 V AC coil picks the relay; the LED across the coil terminals gives a quick visual confirmation that the coil is energised, which saves a meter check during commissioning or fault-finding on a machine line.
8-pin octal base, socket mount
This relay terminates to an 8-pin octal base — the standard pinout for a DPDT relay in this form factor. The socket mount means the relay plugs into a matching 8-pin socket (sold separately), so you can replace the relay without disturbing the panel wiring. That is a practical advantage for MRO spares: a failed relay swaps in seconds, not minutes. The socket mount also isolates the relay from panel vibration — the base is screwed or DIN-rail mounted, and the relay body clips into it. For a packaging line or conveyor control cabinet where relays cycle frequently, this mechanical decoupling extends the contact life by reducing arcing from mechanical shock.
