The ABB 1SVR730740R0100 is a CM-TCS.11S temperature monitoring relay that accepts a PT100 resistance thermometer as its sensor input. It monitors against a configurable setpoint in the -50 to 50 °C range, and can be wired for overtemperature-only, undertemperature-only, or combined over- and undertemperature detection — the three operating modes are selectable on the unit. The universal control supply accepts 24 to 240 V AC/DC, so it works across control voltages from 24 VDC panels up to 240 VAC line-voltage circuits without needing a separate power supply module. Rated frequency covers 50 Hz, 60 Hz, and DC supply.
The housing is 22.5 mm wide — a single modular DIN-rail unit that fits standard 35 mm rail. Height is 85.6 mm, depth 103.7 mm. Screw terminals are provided for both the PT100 sensor connection and the relay output. The housing carries IP50 protection; the terminals are rated IP20, which is typical for inside a control cabinet.
The -50 to 50 °C measuring range covers low-temperature monitoring (freezer rooms, cold storage, outdoor enclosures in winter) up to moderate process temperatures. The PT100 input is a standard 3-wire platinum RTD — widely used in HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial process lines. Electrical endurance is rated at 100,000 cycles under AC-12 duty (resistive load at rated voltage), which is the relay contact life for switching control signals or contactor coils. Storage range extends to +85 °C.
