What It Does in the Panel
This relay mounts on a DIN rail inside the motor control center. It connects between the contactor and the motor — the thermal replica circuit inside measures motor current via the built-in CTs and trips the relay if the thermal load exceeds the set point. For a panel OEM wireman, that means one less device to wire: no separate current transformer, no external overload relay. The CM-MSS.21P handles the protection logic in a single package.
