DI571 – 8-Channel AC Digital Input Module
The ABB 1TNE968902R2103 is the DI571 digital input module from the Distributed Automation I/Os family. It provides 8 discrete inputs designed to sense 100-240 VAC signals — ideal for reading line-voltage limit switches, pushbuttons, or auxiliary contacts from motor starters without an intermediate DC converter. Each channel draws 8 mA from the input supply. The module accepts a continuous voltage range of 0 to 264 V. An integrated delay of 15 to 30 ms per channel filters contact bounce and short spikes, preventing false triggers on noisy AC circuits. The delay is fixed within the module; no software adjustment.
Connection and Environment
Field wiring connects through a pluggable terminal block — the module can be replaced without disturbing the wiring, a time-saver during commissioning or swap-out. Rated IP20, so install in a clean, enclosed cabinet only.
