K-curve 2 A MCB for inductive and motor-circuit protection
The ABB 2CCS471001R0277 is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker with a K tripping characteristic, rated at 2 A. The K curve is designed for inductive loads and motor circuits where inrush currents are higher than resistive loads — it tolerates short-duration surges up to 10–14 times the rated current before tripping, so it won't nuisance-trip on a motor start or transformer energisation. Rated insulation voltage is 440 V, with a short-circuit breaking capacity of 10 kA per IEC/EN 60898 (Icn) and 50 kA per IEC/EN 60947-2 (Icu). The 50 kA Icu rating means the breaker can safely interrupt a fault up to that level once and remain functional — a useful margin in high-fault-current panels near large transformers.
DIN-rail fit and panel integration
Snaps onto standard 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715. The 1-pole width is 17.5 mm (one modular unit), with dimensions 89 mm height, 69 mm width, and 94.5 mm depth — fits standard distribution boards and sub-panels without crowding adjacent breakers. Screw-type terminals accept copper conductors up to 25 mm². Overvoltage category III means it's rated for fixed installation downstream of the main distribution board — typical for branch-circuit protection in commercial and industrial panels.
