K-curve tripping is the key selection parameter here. It sits between B-curve and C-curve on magnetic trip threshold: typically 8–12× rated current for the instantaneous magnetic release. The 6 A rating means it protects a circuit drawing up to 6 A continuous; the K-curve keeps it from nuisance-tripping on the inrush of a small contactor coil or a 50 VA control transformer.
