2-pole contactor with dual AC/DC coil
The ABB 2TAZ312000R2013 is a 2-pole contactor from the E290 series, switching 16 A at 230 V AC through a 1 NO + 1 NC contact configuration. The coil accepts both 230 V AC and 110 V DC control voltages, covering the two most common panel supply rails without needing a separate coil-voltage variant. DIN rail mounting standardises installation in industrial enclosures — the contactor snaps onto a 35 mm rail and releases via a screwdriver slot, no panel drilling required.
Switching current and contact arrangement
Rated 16 A switching current at 230 V AC — this covers motor loads up to roughly 3.7 kW (5 HP) single-phase, plus resistive heating and lighting circuits within the thermal budget of the contact block. The integrated 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts provide a feedback signal for the PLC or an interlock for the next contactor in a star-delta start sequence, saving the cost of a separate auxiliary contact block.
