Pull-wire emergency stop for washdown environments
The ABB 2TLA050206R0332 is a LineStrong3L pull-wire emergency stop switch built for industrial safety circuits where a lanyard or cable trip is needed along a conveyor, transfer line, or machine perimeter. The stainless steel 316 enclosure carries an IP69K classification, meaning it withstands high-pressure, high-temperature washdown cycles typical in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing lines. Wire span reaches up to 125 m, so a single switch covers a long straight section without intermediate pull-boxes.
Contact system and wiring
The switching element is an IEC/EN60947-5-1 double-break Type Zb contact block with silver contacts. That standard covers the positive-opening operation required for safety-related stop functions — when the wire is pulled, the normally-closed contacts physically break, even if welded. Four M20 x 1.5 conduit entries give flexibility for cable routing in a panel or junction box, and the four M5 mounting bolts secure the enclosure to machine framing or a bracket.
