The normal-use rating of 400 kW / 430 A is the baseline for continuous motor operation. The heavy-duty rating of 350 kW / 360 A applies when the drive must handle higher peak torque or a more demanding duty cycle. The light-overload rating of 450 kW / 420 A allows a higher continuous output for applications with less demanding loads.
The module is an Open Type per NEMA, meaning it requires installation inside an enclosure that provides additional environmental protection. The IP20 degree of protection allows finger-safe access but no ingress protection against water or dust — cabinet selection must account for the operating environment. The R10 frame size defines the physical footprint and mounting hole pattern; verify clearance for the DC busbars and cooling airflow per the cabinet layout.
