Rating breakdown: normal, heavy, and light overload
The 3ABD00048397-D: Three output ratings let you match the drive to the load profile. Normal use (Pn) delivers 1.1 kW at 3.3 A — the spec for constant-torque applications like conveyors or mixers running at full load. Heavy-duty use (PhD) drops to 0.8 kW at 2.6 A, intended for high-starting-torque or cyclic overloads such as crushers or extruders. Light-overload use (PlD) also rates 1.1 kW but at 3.1 A, optimized for variable-torque fan and pump loads where peak current is brief.
Mounting and enclosure notes
IP21 means drip-proof but not dust-tight — locate away from coolant mist or heavy dust. NEMA Type 1 enclosure is indoor-only; no outdoor weatherproofing. The WEEE Category 5 classification (small equipment under 50 cm) applies for end-of-life disposal compliance.
