Drive selection note
The ABB 3ABD00048708-D is an ACS580-01 wall-mounted drive rated for 5.5 kW normal use (12.6 A) on a 380-480 V 3-phase supply. Light-overload use (variable-torque) is 5.5 kW at 12.0 A, essentially the same as normal use. Frame R1 keeps the footprint compact for panel layouts where space is tight.
Wall-mounted, IP21, NEMA Type 1. Suitable for indoor, dry locations where dripping water or light splashes are not a concern. The IP21 rating means it is not sealed against dust ingress — keep it out of dusty environments unless you add a filter kit or relocate to a clean enclosure.
