Duty ratings – normal vs heavy load
The 3ABD00057526: This drive carries two output ratings. Normal use (light overload) is 1.1 kW at 3.3 A, which handles pumps, fans, and conveyors with steady torque. Heavy-duty use (PhD) is 0.75 kW at 2.6 A – that's for loads that need extra current during acceleration or intermittent overloads, like a small crusher or a hoist. The light-overload rating (PlD) matches the normal-use power but at 3.1 A, slightly lower current for applications with frequent starts. Match your motor's full-load amps to the heavy-duty column if you expect sustained overloads; otherwise the normal-use rating gives you headroom.
IP20 rating means it's open-type – no gaskets, no washdown protection. Mount it inside a panel with at least IP54 upstream if the cabinet sees dust or moisture. Efficiency is IE2, which is the base level for standard drives – fine for most industrial applications unless your site mandates IE3 or IE4.
