BACnet integration and I/O
The 3AXD50000042304: BACnet is the onboard communication protocol, making this drive a direct fit for building automation and HVAC networks without an external gateway. The drive provides 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 6 digital inputs / 3 digital outputs — enough for basic feedback and control loops. No Industrial Ethernet interface is present, so BACnet MS/TP over RS-485 is the expected physical layer.
Duty ratings and headroom
Three duty ratings let you match the drive to the load profile. Normal use (11 kW, 25.0 A) covers constant-torque applications like conveyors and pumps. Heavy-duty use (7.5 kW, 17.0 A) handles higher overloads — crushers, mixers, or extruders. Light-overload use (11.0 kW, 23.8 A) sits between them. The UL ratings track closely: 15 Hp / 23.0 A normal, 10 Hp / 14 A heavy-duty.
