Ratings that matter on site
The 3AXD50000417551: Normal-use output is 7.5 kW / 31.2 A; heavy-duty use drops to 5.5 kW / 24.2 A. Light-overload use matches the normal-use power at 7.5 kW but with a slightly lower current of 30.8 A — the difference tells you the drive is current-limited, not power-limited, under light overload. The apparent power output is 12 kV·A. Standby loss is 14 W. Power consumption at rated load is 359 W. That's the heat you need to shed inside the enclosure — not huge, but in a sealed NEMA 12 panel it's enough to matter if you stack drives.
IP55 and NEMA Type 12, so it's fine for dusty or damp plant-floor spots — no need for a separate cabinet if the environment isn't washdown. Wall-mounted, frame size R2. Ambient max 40 °C, humidity up to 95% RH. Includes the control unit.
Field notes
Two analog inputs and two analog outputs are onboard. Six digital I/O and three digital outputs — enough for basic start/stop, fault reset, and a speed reference without an extra I/O module. Communication is CAN; no onboard Ethernet, so if you need Modbus TCP or PROFINET you'll need an option module. The internal lithium coin cell (CR2032, 220 mAh, 3 V) keeps the real-time clock alive. If the drive sits on a shelf for a year before commissioning, that cell may be flat — worth swapping before you power up.
