It ships as a control unit included, frame size R2, IP20 open type. Normal-use output is 12.2 A (3 kW); heavy-duty pulls back to 9.3 A (2.2 kW) for tougher loads. MODBUS is onboard, so it talks straight to a PLC without an extra gateway card.
Normal-use (Pn) 3 kW / 12.2 A is the headline, but the heavy-duty rating (PhD) 2.2 kW / 9.3 A is what you size against for constant-torque or high-starting-duty applications — pump, compressor, conveyor. Light-overload (PlD) matches normal at 3 kW but current is 11.6 A, so the thermal model is slightly different. UL ratings track the same pattern: 3 Hp light-overload, 3 Hp normal, 3 Hp heavy-duty at 9.8 A. Input is single-phase only, 200-240 V, 47-63 Hz — no three-phase feed option on this variant.
Four digital inputs, two digital outputs, two analog inputs, one analog output. That's enough for basic start/stop, speed reference, and a run-feedback or fault relay. MODBUS is the only fieldbus — no Industrial Ethernet on this module. If your line needs PROFINET or EtherNet/IP, you're looking at a different variant or an external gateway.
Power and environment
Apparent power output is 4.9 kV·A, power factor 0.98. Power consumption at rated load is 141 W. Sound level 62 dB(A) — noticeable in a quiet panel but not loud for a drive this size. Operating humidity 5-95% RH non-condensing, altitude 2000 m without derating. IP20 open type means it goes in a cabinet, not on the wall.
