Load profile fit
The 3AXD50001109691: This is a variable-torque drive, sized for centrifugal fans and pumps. The heavy-duty current (30.8 A) gives headroom for constant-torque loads like conveyors or screw compressors, but the 7.5 kW PhD rating is the hard limit — don't oversize the motor beyond that if the load profile is constant-torque. The IE2 efficiency level is standard for HVAC drives at this power class.
Integration and I/O
The drive has 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs, plus 6 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs — enough for a basic HVAC sequence (supply fan, return fan, chilled-water valve, discharge-air sensor). Communication is BACnet over the built-in interface; there is no Industrial Ethernet port (0 hardware interfaces of that type), so for Modbus TCP or PROFINET you would need an optional fieldbus adapter. Wall-mounted with an IP66 enclosure — gland plate entry for the motor and mains cables. Maximum ambient temperature is 40 °C; above that, derate the output current. The 15 W standby loss is low enough that internal heating is not a concern in a ventilated space.
