25 A frame, 11 A motor duty — what the ratings actually mean
The A12-30-10-84: Rated 25 A general purpose and 11 A motor current at 600 VAC, 3-pole. The 11 A figure is the AC-3 switching current for standard squirrel-cage motors — that's the number that governs real motor starts, not the 25 A resistive rating. The 120 VAC coil pulls in on a standard North American control transformer; the A12 frame snaps onto DIN rail and accepts the A-line accessory range (aux contacts, mechanical interlocks, surge suppressors).
Panel fit and the built-in auxiliary
DIN rail mount, 3-pole, A12 frame. The integrated 1 N.O. auxiliary contact block saves a DIN slot and a wiring step — it feeds the PLC input or the run-status lamp without a separate add-on. The A-line family shares accessories across frame sizes, so spare aux blocks and coil surge suppressors stock across multiple panel builds.
Sourcing and cross-reference note
Quoted to order against your BOM quantity. The AF series uses a different coil technology (electronic wide-range coil) versus the conventional 120 VAC coil on the A12-30-10-84. Panel rewiring is likely needed if swapping series. No direct drop-in guarantee without checking the coil circuit and the mounting footprint.
