What the Lock Out Kit Does
A lock out kit is used in industrial safety lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. It contains the hardware needed to physically secure energy-isolating devices — circuit breakers, valve handles, plug ends — in the off position during maintenance, so that equipment cannot be accidentally re-energized while personnel are working on it.
