EOL Lifecycle — What It Means for Procurement
For a line-down or BOM-fill situation, the A63-30-11-84 is sourced through independent distribution — quantities are confirmed at RFQ, and there is no guaranteed stock level. The buyer should treat this as a last-time-buy or surplus-channel procurement, not a routine replenishment.
Rated Current and Coil Voltage — Fit Confirmation
Rated 65 A motor current and 90 A general-purpose current at 600 V, per the IEC duty classification. The 65 A figure is the AC-3 motor-switching rating — the current the contactor can break under starting conditions. The 90 A figure applies to resistive or general-purpose loads (AC-1). Coil is 120 V AC. The control circuit must supply 120 V AC at the coil terminals; a 24 V DC or 240 V coil variant is a different order code. Verify the control transformer tap before committing the BOM line. Three-pole configuration with one normally-open and one normally-closed auxiliary contact block integrated. The aux contacts are rated for the same 600 V insulation class as the main poles.
Panel Integration and Mounting
Part of the Eaton A-Line Series, A63 frame. The contactor mounts on a DIN rail or panel via the frame's integral latch — no separate mounting bracket needed. The A63 frame size is the physical envelope that determines side-by-side spacing and busbar connection points. The 1 N.O. + 1 N.C. auxiliary block is factory-installed on the front of the contactor. It occupies the standard auxiliary slot, so adding a second block would require a different front-mount accessory.
