What the part is
The ACS355-03E-04A7-2: It runs on a 200 … 240 V three-phase supply at 50/60 Hz, which is the first thing to confirm against the site feed before the drive goes into the panel. Enclosure is open type with IP20, meaning the cabinet itself has to deliver the rest of the environmental rating — drive sits inside, not on the machine skin.
I/O and fieldbus for the integrator slice
Modbus is the listed communication protocol, so the PLC side drops into a Modbus RTU/TCP slice without an extra gateway in the cabinet. The I/O map is fixed at 5 digital inputs / 1 digital output and 2 analog inputs / 1 analog output — enough for a small machine but not a multi-axis cell.
Mounting and cabinet layout
Cabinet-mount module format means back-panel fixing inside the enclosure; at 70 mm wide it keeps adjacent terminal block room on the sub-panel.
